An established dental laboratory with over 35 years’ experience delivering high-quality dental prosthetics is seeking an experienced Dental Lab Technician to join its growing team. Known for
precision, innovation, and reliable service, the laboratory works closely with dentists and surgeons to produce premium prosthetic solutions.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled, detail-focused, and technically capable Dental Lab Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and repairing a
wide range of dental prosthetics and appliances, supporting excellent clinical outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret dental prescriptions, impressions, and digital files accurately
• Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, relines, surgical guides, and
implant work
• Work with premium materials including wax, metal, zirconia, Emax, and acrylic
• Utilise modern fabrication methods such as CAD/CAM, milling, sintering, investment casting, and 3D printing
• Operate laboratory equipment including grinders, polishers, and porcelain ovens
• Polish and quality-check appliances and models to meet clinical and premium standards
• Ensure precision fit and high attention to detail in all prosthetic work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory environment
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining consistent quality
• Keep up to date with emerging dental technologies and techniques
• Communicate professionally with clinicians and, when required, patients
• Contribute to team collaboration and ongoing process improvement
Skills and Experience Required
• 2–5 years’ experience working in a dental laboratory (essential)
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and fabrication techniques
• Excellent manual dexterity with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with CAD software (e.g. 3Shape) and 3D printing preferred
• Implant planning experience and related software knowledge advantageous
• Qualification in Dental Technology or equivalent practical experience desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or within a team
• Well-organised, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Professional presentation and a strong work ethic
