Application for Continuing Professional Development

All CPD needs to be approved before it is eligible for CPD hours. You need to apply at least 3 weeks before course to ensure it is approved on time.

There are two types of CPD:

• Personal CPD – This comprises of presentations, publications and similar items that individual members produce themselves.
• Provider based CPD Courses – Theses are courses, seminars, conferences, hands-on, branch meetings and other events that are run by third parties. Only people registered as CPD course providers may apply for CPD courses. All NZIDT members and supply companies are providers. Please contact Ian Mercer if you would like to be added as a provider.
