Thursday All Day Seminar Session:
Aesthetics and occlusion in removable prostheses
Julian will explain the concept of physiologically based occlusion, a theory researched and examined by Dr Eugen End of Germany. Dr End studied and copied nature and took it as the foundation for the anatomy and physiology of natural human dentition which he then applied to complete denture prosthetics – natural appearance/aesthetics of teeth and prosthetics. Julian’s course will provide valuable tips to the clinical dental technician not only for the design of the occlusal surface, but also for the teeth in their entirety resulting in aesthetically pleasing and functional dentures.

Treatment options for the edentulous patient
This course will go through several theories of occlusion and focus on the Physiological Occlusion Concept. Theoretical and practical guidelines will be presented to the participants so they can apply these concepts in their daily practices.
With the high success rate of dental implants, guidelines for removable and fixed implant supported restorations will be discussed.
CAD/CAM technology will be presented for the framework design of hybrid prosthesis
