NZIDT is looking to assist its members with recertification.

The NZIDT executive recently held a weekend meeting to discuss many topics.  We are  looking to assist our members with managing the new recertification requirements.  We aim to make the transition and moving through the new regime as painless and easy as possible.  We know our members are busy and changes can be challenging.  As a part of this we have provided our members with special recertification booklets to assist.

We have also made a submission to the Therapeutic Products Bill.

This years conference is likely to go down very well as it is two years since our members met together at our last face to face conference.  We have the planning in place and some awesome presenters and presentations in mind.  We are adapting as times change to meet the needs of the CDT’s and DT’s.

We are aware of the importance of supporting the students coming through into our industry. Members of our executive and also professional members are giving of their time to assist the students during their studies by going down and discussing aspects of working in a clinic or laboratory.  We also help by offering Research Grants a crucial part of their study and of benefit to the future of the industry.  Offering outplacements to students is another important offering we make.
